Where is he from?

Aslan is also a career changed dog from Guide Dogs for the Blind. However he is not a dog that I (Hana) raised. Aslan was raised by Jared and my good friend Liz. I actually raised Aslan's brother Amarillo as my first dog in the same club. Aslan and Amarillo went back to formal training on the same day and were both career changed for medical issues. Aslan had early signs of cataracts in his eyes. There was a chance that it could get worse so Guide Dogs didn't want to take the chance. He was released from the program and Liz placed him as a pet with Jared. Jared officially adopted him. Aslan is the reason that we met and started dating!

And currently...

Aslan spends most his days laying on what he deems is the most comfiest bed in the house. He was probably a professional mattress tester in another life. Although Aslan is young and fit, he is not as active as the other dogs and is not into hiking as much as Gumbo is. Aslan is also what we call a "broken lab". He does not like water and does not retrieve. Aslan's enjoys playing tug and getting chased by other dogs.
